It does your body good when you treat it like you should. When you’re not feeling your best it can be difficult to rise to the occasion. If you’re dealing with anxiety, work overload or just not in the best headspace, it’s probably time to step back and take a breather. Whether your stressors are internal or external, it’s important that you keep your mental and physical health in check.

Here are three quick and foolproof ways to find calm in a crazy world:

1. Tackling that To-Do List

Say it with me Woo-Sah. Just saying this calming word can help relieve anxiety. If most of your anxiety stems from an extremely long to-do list, learn to simplify your list. Prioritize the three most important tasks by writing them on a sticky note at the beginning of every day, and leave the little things for later. Crossing off those three items at the end of the day is a level of the highest satisfaction.

2. Meditation is for the Mighty

Meditating can be a great way to put your body and mind at ease. Set aside 10-15 minutes of your day to concentrate on your breathing and energy. You can do it before you head into the office or right before you hop into bed. This time is for you to de-stress and reflect so that you can take on challenges for the day. 3. Burn, Baby Burn

It’s no secret that exercising is a great way to relieve stress. It increases endorphins and lets you literally burn the stress away. It’s a healthy alternative to using food as a coping mechanism and is heart friendly.

What’s you go-to de-stressor?
