You may not be wearing a skin tight leotard, have long  flowing black locks or a giant “S” on your chest, but you can be Superwoman. According to social psychologist Amy Cuddy, “making yourself big” or standing in a Wonder Woman-like stance (hands on hips, legs wide), for just two minutes before a meeting changes the brain in ways to build courage, reduce anxiety and inspire leadership. 

It might feel silly at first, but next time you’re nervous about a presentation or a big job interview, take a page out of Wonder Woman’s book and try out this power stance in front of the mirror. You’ll feel confident and ready to take on the world in no time!
